Hey, I’m Jennifer!
I’m so happy you’re here. Grab a coffee (or in my case an ice-cold Dr. Pepper), get comfy, and let me share a little of my heart with you.
For the past 27 years, I’ve shared life with my best friend and husband. Together we’ve raised two incredible kids (a 23-year-old daughter and a 19-year-old son), and recently stepped into the sweetest new chapter: becoming grandparents. Our 18-month-old grandson has completely stolen my heart, and you can often find me soaking up every snuggle I can get.
When I’m not behind the camera, I’m probably lost in a good book, crafting something creative, shopping for the perfect cozy find, or dreaming up our next family vacation.
how it started
Before photography, I spent 14 years as a kindergarten and early childhood teacher—something that taught me how precious and fleeting the little moments are, and just how much love fits into the smallest gestures. That background, along with growing up on a small horse ranch, shaped my love for a slower, more intentional life. My dream? Growing old with my husband, rocking on the front porch as the sun sets, and raising chickens and goats on our little farm.
This work is about so much more than pretty pictures. It’s about connection. I do this because I love seeing belly laughs shared between parents and their kids. I’m moved every time I watch a mom and dad completely captivated by their newborn. There’s something so special about the excitement in the eyes of a couple expecting their first baby—and the pure magic of a family just being together, snuggling and playing in golden light. I’ve watched grandparents kissing their grandbabies, and big brothers giving piggy-back rides to their little sisters. These are the moments that make life beautiful—and I consider it the greatest honor to preserve them.
